We thought maybe it was a virus or something. If it's due to a Windows update I guess tons of people will have the issue!!! Let me know if anyone figures it out. The adapter got recognised again.
- I did a system restore to a month ago but that did not solve the problem.
- Did the power trick again, and it was back.

- After it runs the Wireless is fine for several reboots but eventually fails again.I don't understand.My first thought was hardware.

When I run ipconfig, the only adapter showing is the blue tooth which seems to be permanently disabled and it shows that it's disabled in both ipconfig and in control panel/network
I have removed the card and reinserted it, and then restored original bios, no luck. After repair my mainboard was replaced.
