The bootmgr entry needs to point to have the "partition" entry point to the physical disk and volume. Windows is installed on C:, and I also have D: , E: and G: as storage partitions . I only just now got my vista set up almost the same as my old xp.   • it should be done with the repair , if theres a command to rewrite the whole boot manager again , i think it's bootsecs or bootmgr , just use both ,
