- boot from the Windows 7 DVD and when you get to the screen for installing Windows, go to Advanced Options and completely DELETE the partition and then select option to format.

He removed the mouse, and started setup over again. the 32 bit attempts install fine but I blue screen at the splash screen of the 64 bit install everytime. what was on it before? It actually sounds like there was a problem with the install and that you should install it again.This time..
