But then I installed it on my Windows 7. I'm switching back to Opera. I have seen it 5 times this morning in the hour that my PC has been running. What problem do I have??

No BSODs on my desktops. if no avail look in event viewer what error do you get. Maybe you have some "shell extension" plugin that is interfering here. So, to pinpoint the problem, it's essential to try all those different technologies and see which one work and which ones give the BSOD.
i have xp sp3 btw. i would start with graphic card drivers first.
